• Report to the Maintenance Engineering Manager and support uptime of large-scale production machinery.
• Balance preventive maintenance, rapid breakdown response, and accurate documentation.
• Partner with operations and other departments to raise quality, throughput, and safety.

• Diagnose, repair, and replace electronic components including printed circuit boards, relays, switches, motors, and position sensors.
• Locate faults in motors and lighting; replace damaged/broken wires and cables.
• Connect power feeds to equipment; route and terminate cables between machines and peripherals.
• Test faulty machinery and collaborate with fellow techs to pinpoint malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot and swap mechanical and pneumatic parts; repair electronically controlled and pneumatic systems.
• Identify failure modes, implement corrective actions, and conduct validation test runs.
• Ensure all facility equipment is maintained to spec and operating correctly.
• Clean machines and parts thoroughly; remove and reinstall components as needed.
• Use schematics and equipment manuals to complete efficient repairs.
• Test electrical systems to verify correct installation and operation.
• Train managers and teammates as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
• Document work performed; record/report worn, damaged, or broken parts.
• Participate in maintenance meetings and flex your schedule as business needs evolve.
• Support SOP creation and author clear equipment guides for other departments.
• Develop proficiency across all areas of the production line.

• OSHA/EPA regulatory knowledge for plant operations and maintenance.
• Hands-on ability to operate and understand facility systems and equipment.
• Capable of performing and interpreting system checks.
• Experience with robotic teach pendants and PLCs: program, test, troubleshoot, and verify automated machinery repairs.
• Organized, able to prioritize, and an effective communicator (written and verbal).
• Follows direction from supervisors/senior maintenance staff; proactive and reliable.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; reads blueprints and schematics with ease.
• Deep knowledge of electrical systems/wiring; adept with meters and diagnostic tools.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, sometimes high-pressure environment.
• Physical ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move to service equipment; able to traverse the facility to diagnose issues and plan repairs.
• Welding experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/community college coursework in electrical/mechanical fields preferred with three (3) years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
