Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Downers Grove and Skokie, IL.Work Schedule/Locations:Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 8:30am-2:30pm- Downers Grove, ILThursday 9:00am-5:00pm- Franklin Park, ILJob Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments as necessaryPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED or equivalentPhlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomistPreferred Qualifications:1 year or more of phlebotomy experience with pediatric and geriatric patientsAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency1 year or more Pediatric experienceProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionReliable transportationFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to pass a standardized color blindness testAt Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.Pay Range: $17.50 - $24.50 per hourAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market dataPhlebotomist's may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
