You’ll become an expert in handling, storage, transporting, arming and disarming weapons systems to ensure everyone stays as safe as possible and the mission is successful. Primary Responsibilities Handle, store and transport weapons and locally dispose of nonhazardous, unserviceable munitions. Prepare munitions for loading on aircraft. Inspect munitions for serviceability. Conduct inventories and correct discrepancies. Establish and evaluate performance standards, maintenance controls and work procedures. Completion of basic munitions systems course. No record of emotional instability or domestic violence. Possession of a valid state driver’s license to operate government motor vehicles. Completion of a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks and Credit Check. Completion of 8.5 weeks of Basic Military Training. Must be between the ages of 17 and 39.
