Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring 1+ years of IR experience, EPIC proficiency, and an active NY license.

Details

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting
• Performs vascular studies and procedures including angioplasty, carotid stenting, and upper/lower extremity angiography
• Day shift schedule combining two 8-hour and two 10-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
• On-call responsibilities required, including one weekend per 4-week block plus 2-3 weekdays
• Must be able to report within 30 minutes when called in
• One holiday on-call shift required
• Floating required

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology nursing experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Skilled in sheath removal/monitoring, vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose), and radiation/laser safety
• Proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation/management, pressure ulcer assessment/prevention, and Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale
• Neurointerventional experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include managing vascular access, monitoring sedation, and supporting interventional radiology procedures
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be considered for travel pay rate
• Cannot have more than 10 days of requested RTO at time of submission
• Former staff may not reapply within 6 months system-wide
