Accounting Associate

Accounting Associate A well-established, mission-driven financial organization is seeking an Accounting Associate to join its finance team. The Accounting Associate will support the day-to-day operations of the finance department, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong internal controls across a variety of accounting functions. Responsibilities: Update daily market values for investment accounts Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice tracking and payment processing Initiate electronic payments and banking transactions Support grant and fund transfer processing, including electronic file uploads Assist with audit preparation (mid-year and year-end) Process incoming cash activity (wires, checks, credit cards) Maintain and track fixed assets and depreciation schedules Support account maintenance and closing processes Assist with reporting, administrative, and operational projects as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2-3 years of general accounting experience, including general knowledge of investment operations Understanding of GAAP principles Strong Excel skills and comfort with financial systems High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively #J-18808-Ljbffr The Quest Organization
