We are currently seeking a BE./BC Vascular Surgeon to join our cardiovascular practice in Rapid City, South Dakota. With a team of board-certified physicians, skilled support staff, and excellent facilities, the Health Heart & Vascular Institute offers a full spectrum of cardiovascular care.

Highlights:

• Join a comprehensive vascular surgical program offering the opportunity to perform the full spectrum of open and endovascular procedures
• These procedures include: everything from dialysis access creation and lower extremity interventions to complex open and endovascular aortic repair, including advanced techniques such as TAMBE, physician modified endografts (PMEG), thoracic branch endografts (TBE), and transcarotid artery revascularization (TCAR)
• Area's largest group of cardiovascular specialists:
• 9 Non-Interventional Cardiologists
• 5 Interventional Cardiologists, including 2 Fellowship-trained Peripheral Vascular Interventionalists
• 3 Electrophysiologists
• 1 Heart Failure Cardiologist
• 1 Cardiothoracic Surgeon
• 1 Vascular Surgeon
• Highly experienced and dedicated team of over 40 dedicated advanced practitioners to assist with both inpatient and outpatient management of patients, including nocturnal inpatient support. This includes dedicated cardiothoracic surgical and vascular surgical APPs, both on the inpatient and outpatient side
• Growing program with 700+ Cardiac, Thoracic, and Endovascular and open vascular surgical cases in the last 12 months
• 3,200+ Cath Lab Procedures
• 12 operation rooms (2 dedicated to cardiac surgery), 3 Hybrid rooms (one reserved to Vascular Surgery service), 4 Da Vinci Robotic Systems
• State-of-the-art Siemens hybrid endovascular operating room, that opened in August, complete with advanced imaging such as cone beam CT, integrated intravascular ultrasound and EVAR 3D image overlay
• Comprehensive Cardiovascular Quality Assessment/Quality Improvement (GA/GI) Program with active registry participation. This includes participation in STS Adult Cardiac Surgery, NCDR CP/MI, NCDR Cath/PCI, NCDR Device Implant Registry, NCDR TVT, SVS Vascular Quality Initiative, AHA Get with the Guidelines A-Fib and NCDR LAAO registries
