Program Specialist 3

The Superintendent invites qualified and interested persons to apply for the position of Program Specialist 3 with the Office of Food & Nutrition. This position involves supervising professional and/or technical staff engaged in program activities; performing complex and sensitive professional, administrative and analytical work to promote the planning, operation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of various programs and services administered by the Department of assignment.

Qualifications and requirements include a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three years of professional experience, or a master's degree and two years of professional experience. Professional experience refers to work that is creative, analytical, evaluative, and interpretive.

Basic functions and responsibilities include supervising staff, planning and coordinating programs, researching funding sources, handling sensitive program issues, and preparing reports and documents.

Salary ranges from $76,497 to $96,286 for a twelve-month employment period. Union affiliation is Local 32. For more details on benefits, visit .
