As we scale retail, e-commerce, and wholesale distribution, we are seeking a hands-on, technically minded Production Supervisor to own the floor, optimize assembly lines, and lead warehouse fulfillment operations.

Role Overview

We are looking for an operational leader with an engineering mindset —someone who thinks in systems, process optimization, cycle times, and root-cause problem solving. This is not a desk job. You will be on the production floor actively directing and assisting with the hands-on assembly, converting, and packaging of our abrasive products, while managing warehouse workflows, inventory integrity, and inbound/outbound logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Production & Assembly Leadership: Supervise, train, and work side-by-side with assembly technicians on the floor to convert raw abrasives, foam, and backing materials into finished retail and wholesale units.
• Process & Engineering Optimization: Apply continuous improvement (Lean/5S/Six Sigma principles) to reduce assembly cycle times, eliminate bottlenecks, minimize raw material scrap, and scale manufacturing output.
• Quality Control & Tooling Maintenance: Establish strict QA/QC standards for dimensional tolerances, bond adhesion, and packaging finish; troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on assembly equipment, cutting tooling, and fixtures.
• Warehouse & Inventory Management: Oversee raw material stock, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished goods inventory; maintain accurate stock levels to avoid material stockouts or supply chain disruptions.
• Fulfillment & Logistics: Coordinate outbound shipping across all sales channels—including wholesale dealer distribution, direct-to-consumer orders, and palletized/case-pack shipments for retail supply chains.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment adhering to OSHA standards and workshop safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Mindset & Experience: 3+ years in a production supervisory, manufacturing lead, or process engineering role. A degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent hands-on technical/shop experience) is strongly preferred.
• Hands-On Capability: Willing and able to roll up your sleeves to build, assemble, pack, and operate light machinery alongside the team daily.
• Warehouse Operations: Demonstrated proficiency with warehouse inventory controls, shipping/receiving procedures, and freight logistics (LTL and parcel carrier workflows).
• Problem Solver: Data-driven mindset with the ability to design fixtures, refine workflow layouts, and standardize operating procedures (SOPs).
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk throughout an 8-hour shift, and handle industrial materials safely.
