Our customers view us as a trusted partner in the areas of injection molding, laser processing, metal stamping and device assembly.The Mold Maintenance Technician plays a key role in keeping our production running smoothly. This position is responsible for performing mold repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on a wide range of complex and highly intricate injection molds often requiring work within extremely precise tolerances.Monday- Friday from 6:00am - 2:30pmResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance on injection molding toolingIdentify and recommend improvements for tool development and performanceRead and follow work instructions, setup sheets, and checklists accuratelyRecord time and repair details into the maintenance ticket system.Adhere to all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredComply with the company's Quality System, ISO, and medical device regulationsUnderstand and follow all standard work proceduresParticipate in all required company meetingsMaintain a clean and organized work environment according to 5S principlesSupport the Operational Excellence ProgramWork effectively in a manufacturing environmentPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsStrong understanding of quality procedures and standardsAbility to read and interpret engineering prints and blueprintsSkilled in using hand toolsProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelFamiliarity with Operational Excellence or Lean Manufacturing practicesExcellent interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skillsAbility to read, comprehend, and follow work instructions and SOPsMechanical dexterity with strong hand-eye coordinationProven problem-solving ability and troubleshooting skillsAbility to take direction from supervisorsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentExperience using surface grinders, mills, and lathes is preferred. 1-3 years of hands-on bench experience in a tooling environment preferred.Cretex Companies may use cutting oils, solvents, and other chemicals in the manufacturing process. Testing is conducted on a periodic basis to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.Pay RangeUSD $25.14 - USD $36.49 /Hr.Pay Range DetailsThis pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
