Be one of the first to apply — offer rates tend to be higher at this stage Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ER experience and a GA or Compact RN license. Details Emergency Department setting Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:00 AM) Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed Requirements Active GA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of ER experience required Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Preferred certifications: CPI, ENPC, TNCC Skills in respiratory care, ventilated patient care, medication administration, and cardiac monitoring Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Preferred experience with continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration/monitoring Additional Information Provide emergency care including triage, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, which must be finalized prior to start Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment: work all if 1-2 holidays occur, or 2 of 3 if three holidays occur Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day Former Piedmont perm, per diem, or FCSS staff must wait one full year before applying as a traveler Returning travelers who were previously unable to return to a facility must complete one assignment elsewhere before rebooking These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
