Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Dental Hygienist Assistant to work at a facility in Chandler, AZ . Job Summary As a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you are an integral part of the care team, providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Job Responsibilities Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization. Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment. Update patient health history and chart treatment progress. Expose and develop radiographs (if certified). Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care. Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments. Support the hygienist with patient scheduling, treatment recommendations, and office recall systems. Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with industry regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA. Required Skills & Experience At least six months of hands‑on experience as a Dental Assistant, Dental Hygiene Assistant, or in a Dental Assistant internship. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail‑oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort. Preferred Skills & Experience N/A Required Education High school diploma or GED. Preferred Education Associate’s Degree or certification in Dental Assisting (preferred but not required). Required Certifications & Licensure X‑Ray certification. CPR certification.
