Production Operator – Paint Processor in Huron, OH Shift: 2nd shift- Monday-Thursday- 3 PM-1 AM. Overtime is occasionally mandatory during peak season in this role. Will train on 1st shift for a few months. SIGN ON BONUS OF $1,000 The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a detail-oriented Production Operator – Paint Processor to support production processes including dispersion, thindown, quality evaluation, and batch adjustments. This role is responsible for safely producing batches according to specifications, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring product quality standards are met. The ideal candidate has prior manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Comply with all safety rules and standard safety practices Operate mixing and processing equipment according to production instructions Accurately add raw materials to batches in the correct order and amounts Use forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and stage materials Monitor batches during processing to ensure quality standards are being met Perform quality checks and make adjustments to color, viscosity, or strength as directed Transfer materials between tanks or vessels using pumps and transfer hoses Record batch information such as temperatures, mix times, speeds, and adjustments Required Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred Basic computer skills and ability to learn production and inventory systems Ability to follow detailed instructions and accurately document work #J-18808-Ljbffr
