Pleasant Hope R-VI School District is seeking applicants for substitute openings in our Food Service Department.
Qualifications: Education: High school graduate, preferred Experience: Appropriate experience for position preferred
Reporting Relationship: Reports to: Head cook
Terms of Employment: All days meals are served, plus one day prior and one day after
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Position Summary: The cook is primarily responsible for the preparation and serving of food to students.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Prepares and serves food.
2. Store food and supplies.
3. Utilize proper safety and sanitation procedures.
4. Use and maintains food service equipment.
5. Assists in daily cleaning of kitchen and serving areas.
6. Wipes tables after breakfast and lunch shifts.
7. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
8. Should be in sufficient health to perform the essential functions of the job.
