Our recruiting firm is partnering with a growing international manufacturing organization seeking a hands‑on Controller to lead U.S. accounting and financial operations. This role reports directly to executive leadership and works closely with global finance partners. This is a high‑impact position ideal for a strong accounting leader who thrives in a manufacturing environment and enjoys balancing strategic oversight with hands‑on execution. What You’ll Own Lead full‑cycle accounting and oversee GL, P&L, and cash flow reporting Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close Ensure US GAAP compliance and corporate reporting alignment Prepare financial statements and executive reporting packagesli>Develop rolling cash flow forecasts and support annual budgeting Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to leadership Inventory & Cost Accounting Oversee inventory valuation, COGS, and margin analysis Manage batch costing within MRP systems Analyze material usage and cost drivers in a complex manufacturing environment Conduct margin and profitability analysis to support operations Accounting Operations & Controls Oversee AR, AP, payroll, and banking relationships Ensure timely reconciliations and financial accuracy Partner with external CPA firm on tax and year‑end processes Strengthen internal controls, approval workflows, and compliance processes Cross-Functional Partnership Collaborate with Operations, Production, R&D, and Sales Provide actionable financial insights to drive business decisions Support scalability in a growing ~$15M organization What We’re Looking For CPA preferred (strong public accounting background highly valued) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing Strong experience with inventory accounting and batch or standard costing Deep understanding of US GAAP Experience with MRP systems and accounting platforms (QBO or similar) Advanced Excel skills (modeling, cost analysis, pivot tables) Analytical, detail‑oriented, and hands‑on Collaborative leader who can operate confidently in a growing organization Why This Role?
