Shipping Inspector

Key Responsibilities The shipping inspector will be responsible for auditing all shipments/loads according to the load sheet/instructions and the established outbound/inbound processes. Position Position: Shipping Inspector Available Position: 1 Shift Information Shift: 2nd Shift Schedule: Regular nonpeak hrs. 4:00PM-12:30AM / Peak Season Hrs. 4:00PM-2:30AM Compensation Pay: $19.50 per hour Additional Incentives All full-time employees are eligible to qualify for monthly attendance bonuses. Ideal Candidate Attributes Must have accurate and effective communication with the shipping/Transportation departments. Role Purpose To audit all loads/shipments. Key Accountabilities Responsible for auditing all loads/shipments according to Load Sheet/Instructions and Import Pedimento. Ensure 100% accuracy in all shipments. Consolidate suppliers shipments in truckloads. Create the Shipping Manifest for the daily truckloads. Comply with established SOP's and cut off times.
