Job Title: SAP EAM Business Analyst – Supplier Quality Location: Hayward, CA 94545 Duration: 6+ Months Pay rate range: $75.00 - $82.00/hour on W2. Job Description We are seeking an experienced SAP EAM Business Analyst to support the Supplier Quality organization by maintaining SAP equipment master data, vehicle equipment structures, and BOM integrity throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. This role will serve as the primary SAP functional resource for Supplier Quality, partnering with Manufacturing, Engineering, MES, and SAP Business Applications to ensure supplier-built assemblies and vehicle configurations are accurately represented in SAP. Maintain SAP Equipment Masters, Functional Locations, Material Masters, BOMs, equipment hierarchies, and serial number master data to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Support Supplier Quality by creating, updating, installing, and dismantling equipment within SAP while maintaining complete equipment traceability. Execute SAP BOM validation activities, including BOM Comparisons, and investigate Part Missing, Part Mismatch, and Quantity Mismatch discrepancies. Analyze equipment structures, production orders, material consumption, and serial number history to resolve manufacturing and supplier quality issues. Support supplier equipment onboarding by validating upload files, executing supplier data imports, and troubleshooting upload failures and interface errors. Investigate and resolve SAP master data issues, including material master, plant extensions, equipment status, serial number conflicts, and equipment hierarchy inconsistencies. Collaborate with Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, MES, and SAP Business Applications teams to resolve production-impacting issues and configuration discrepancies. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline Supplier Quality and SAP EAM processes. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and user documentation related to SAP equipment management. Provide day-to-day functional SAP support, user guidance, and root cause analysis for Supplier Quality operations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related discipline. 4 to 6 years of hands‑on SAP functional experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM/PM) and Equipment Master Data. Working knowledge of SAP Quality Management (QM) and Material Master processes. Experience supporting equipment lifecycle activities, including equipment installation, dismantling, and hierarchy management. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to resolve production support issues. Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally across Manufacturing, Engineering, quality, MES, and IT teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP S/4HANA. Experience supporting Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Operations. Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and shop floor processes. Experience with configuration management, BOM validation, and serial number traceability. Experience in automotive, robotics, aerospace, or other high‑volume manufacturing environments. Success in This Role Within the first 30 days, the successful candidate will be able to: Independently support Supplier Quality SAP requests and day‑to‑day production issues. Execute and troubleshoot TC5 BOM Comparisons and resolve common configuration discrepancies. Perform equipment installation, dismantling, and equipment hierarchy updates within scope. Support supplier equipment uploads and resolve common SAP master data issues. Partner effectively with Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, MES, and SAP Business applications to resolve production‑impacting issues while maintaining accurate equipment traceability.
