Physical Therapist Assistant Department: Quality Care Rehab Employment Type: Full Time Location: Haven Health Globe Reporting To: Joseph Arthur Compensation: $32.00 - $36.00 / hour Description This Physical Therapist Assistant will support licensed physical therapists in helping patients recover movement, alleviate pain and restore function following injury, illness, or surgery. Key Responsibilities Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the physical therapist to meet patients' rehabilitation goals. Lead patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities, ensuring proper technique and providing feedback. Apply and monitor various modalities, adjusting parameters to optimize outcomes. Educate patients and families on injury prevention, body mechanics, and pain management strategies. Document patient progress, report findings to the supervising therapist, and collaborate on plan adjustments. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Current license/certification in the state of practice.
