What You'll Do Provide clinical pharmacy services across acute care settings Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to develop and optimize individualized treatment plans Review and verify medication orders for safety, accuracy, and appropriateness Monitor patient medication therapy and adjust recommendations based on clinical outcomes Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members on medication use Document interventions and clinical activities in accordance with system standards Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives What We're Looking For Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, Required. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification. PhD, Preferred. Doctorate of Pharmacy. Experience: Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy, Preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, Required. Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification, Preferred. Additional Skills (required): Other duties as outlined in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures.
