Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mount Prospect, IL, for an Associate Veterinarian. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for performing medical, surgical, and dental treatments for animals, conducting diagnostic tests, and interpreting results. The role involves developing and recommending treatment plans, educating pet owners about preventive care and health management, and collaborating with the veterinary team to deliver outstanding patient care. Additional responsibilities include keeping accurate medical records and complying with professional, ethical, and legal standards. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited veterinary program Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Illinois Knowledge and experience in diagnostic and surgical procedures Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on advancements in veterinary medicine Strong communication and client education skills to build trust and relationships Ability to work collaboratively with a team and maintain a positive workplace culture Compassionate and patient-focused care with attention to detail Experience with animal behavior and wellness is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Randhurst Animal Hospital
