Surveillance Supervisor

Position Overview The Surveillance Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of surveillance officers, monitoring casino activities, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This pivotal role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a keen understanding of casino operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work alongside a team of surveillance operators during assigned shifts Provide guidance and support to members, ensuring a collaborative and high‑performing environment Monitor live and recorded video feeds from surveillance cameras to identify irregularities, suspicious activities, and potential violations Investigate incidents, prepare incident reports, and maintain accurate records of observations Ensure all areas of the casino, including gaming floors, entrances, and high‑value areas, are under continuous surveillance Collaborate with surveillance staff to assess situations and make real‑time decisions when addressing security concerns Discover, maintain, and provide information to Security, Legal, and People department heads regarding potential criminal activity and/or activity that may cause risk or liability for the company Ensure compliance with gaming regulations, company policies, and relevant laws to maintain a secure gaming environment Maintain working knowledge of laws and regulations (and changes in such) impacting the company’s line of business and communicate this information to the appropriate parties, as required Monitor all activities within the company to ensure that all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and controls are enforced throughout the company, including Title 31, federal regulations, OSHA, and Nevada Gaming Control Board Prepare and submit detailed reports regarding surveillance findings, incidents, and investigations Coordinate and conduct training programs for surveillance officers, focusing on procedures, technical skills, and ethical conduct Facilitate ongoing professional development to enhance the team’s capabilities and knowledge Collaborate with technical teams to resolve equipment issues promptly Collaborate with other departments, including security, gaming operations, and regulatory compliance, to address security concerns and maintain a safe environment Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary Qualification Requirements Minimum 21 years of age High School diploma or equivalent One year’s progressive experience supervising surveillance operations for a luxury resort Familiarity with Nevada Gaming Standards and Regulations Knowledge of all table games and casino procedures Knowledge of gaming regulations such as Title 31, Nevada Revised Statutes, and local jurisdictional gaming laws Ability to lead and protect the assets of Fontainebleau Las Vegas while ensuring gaming compliance Proficiency with surveillance software (iTRAK, BJ Survey, AS/400, Table View), Excel, Word, and eConnect POS System Strong communication skills, empathy, and diplomacy when dealing with guests, patrons, and members with high levels of patience required Willingness and ability to document and testify regarding observations accurately Knowledge of the principles and practices of applicable state statutes, codes and regulations, including operation and security requirements Ability to build trust and positive working relationships with diverse groups, including industry stakeholders and emergency personnel Understanding of surveillance policy and procedures and ability to train team members Ability to influence and drive collaboration with individuals or groups at various levels within and outside the organization Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to organizational success through mentoring and development of individuals and teams Demonstrated ability to maintain consistent, high‑quality service levels Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, holidays, and weekends Ability to work in a fast‑paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment Diversity Commitment Fontainebleau Las Vegas is committed to ensuring an inclusive space and sense of belonging for our members.
