Major duties of this position include but are not limited to:

• Provide quality service in our progressive, innovative health care system for the veteran inpatient and outpatient population.
• Deliver patient-centered pulmonary and critical care services in settings such as the MICU, pulmonary function laboratory, sleep lab, and bronchoscopy suite
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, contributing to educational development programs affiliated with the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care, teaching, and research and be eligible for a faculty appointment in the Department of Medicine at the University of New Mexico

Recruitment Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Highly qualified individuals may be eligible for a recruitment/relocation incentive in accordance with agency policy. Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
