Travel Med Surg RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

The schedule for this position is nights, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with alternating weekends.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Med Surg RN to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced medical surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to various patient needs, demonstrating commitment to excellence in nursing practice.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical surgical unit.
• Perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical records system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system.
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility.
