Record Center Specialist

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in the role of Record Center Specialist. This position requires physical activity, including kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending forward frequently throughout shifts. The primary tasks involve moving, arranging, lifting, and loading storage boxes, bins, and totes. These items range in weight from 24 lbs to over 100 lbs and are moved manually and via hand carts.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Lift, carry, and move/arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.
• Load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.
• Read and write English to process incoming and outgoing orders.
• Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes.
• Operate handheld scanners.
• Climb and balance on ladders.
• Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
• Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and carry boxes weighing 10-100 lbs regularly without assistance.
• Proficiency in loading, operating, and moving hand carts, pallet jacks, and various other material handling aids.
• Protective footwear is required, meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards with a slip-resistant rating designated as "Better or Best".

Work Schedule

Normal work schedule is 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
