Sea Mar is recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Position Summary: Sea Mar Behavioral Health Services seeks a full‑time Substance Use Disorder Clinical Supervisor for Turning Point, our inpatient adult treatment facility in Seattle. The Clinical Supervisor will supervise clinical staff, intern supervision, train employees, plan and assign work, assist the Program Manager with hiring and performance appraisals, reward and discipline staff, address complaints and resolve problems, ensure contract compliance, and carry a small case load of clients to provide direct care. The position requires certification from the Washington State Department of Health as a Chemical Dependency Professional. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure SUD program compliance with WACs, RCWs, and other relevant laws, regulations, and contracts. Create and coordinate public relations materials. Attend networking meetings and maintain working relationships with community organizations across counties. Identify and categorize each patient’s age‑specific needs. Review and approve clinicians’ clinical documentation in Cerner. Assist with the development of the program at outpatient SUD sites. Provide clinical supervision and training to CDP trainees. Collaborate with the VP of Behavioral Health and/or BH Regional Director to develop plans and implement outpatient SUD treatment content across assigned counties or department‑wide. Ensure staff maintain accurate and current patient records per the problem‑oriented records system and facility procedures. Ensure the patient records system complies with WAC 388‑805. Participate in quality improvement activities, including clinical site audits. Qualifications and Requirements: Ability to differentiate between SUD issues alone and those complicated by concurrent mental illness. Ability to develop treatment plans based on assessments. Skill in working effectively with all persons, cross‑cultural sensitivity, and knowledge of cultures. Understanding of chemical dependency treatment and coordination with mental health services. Must hold a permanent oath of confidentiality covering all patient information. Must pass a Washington State Patrol background check. Must hold a certification from the Department of Health as a Chemical Dependency Professional. Minimum two years of supervisory experience with CDPs or trials. Must hold current CPR certification, obtain within 90 days of hire if not active. Must hold active First Aid certification.
