Software Engineer – Salesforce Architecture Program Join the Salesforce Architecture Program to design enterprise‑scale, multi‑cloud solutions that drive digital transformation for global customers. Responsibilities Act as a peer to senior technical leaders, engaging C‑level executives and Enterprise Architecture Review Boards as a credible strategic advisor to align Multi‑Cloud Platform strategy with long‑term transformation goals. Drive architectural governance at the highest levels, partnering with Chief Information Security Officers and Privacy Officers to advise on architectural patterns that meet data sovereignty, security, and compliance requirements across regulated industries and global jurisdictions. Shape the Salesforce Architecture Program, partnering with internal teams to define content strategy and ensuring public content is clear, relevant, and actionable for enterprise‑scale architects. Bring the Well‑Architected Framework to life by creating and delivering compelling content—blogs, videos, workshops, and technical demos—that translates Salesforce‑specific patterns into industry‑standard language and connects Well‑Architected principles with frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL, and COBIT. Own the architect experience at major events, leading architect tracks at Dreamforce, TDX, and World Tours with sessions, hands‑on workshops, and peer‑level conversations valuable to senior architects. Build and enable the community, evangelizing best practices at community events, evolving architecture workshops, and empowering community ambassadors to extend the work further. Champion the voice of the architect by establishing and managing a robust feedback loop that channels community insight into platform and program development. Qualifications Significant experience navigating Architectural Review Boards and long‑term roadmap planning for global organizations; a leading architect role at a Big 4 consulting firm, global system integrator, or large enterprise is required. 10+ years in technology with deep hands‑on experience as a technical or enterprise architect; strong command of architectural principles and frameworks and a track record designing scalable, secure solutions on Salesforce. Proven ability to conduct Buy vs. Build analysis and Total Cost of Ownership modeling for large‑scale transformation programs and present findings to executive audiences. Extensive experience creating and delivering high‑quality technical content—blog posts, white papers, videos, or public talks—and communicating clearly across engineering teams and C‑suite. Salesforce certifications at the System Architect and Application Architect level. Travel up to 25% (domestic and international). Bonus Skills Salesforce Certified Technical Architect. Familiarity with Event‑Driven Architectures, Data Mesh, or Data Fabric patterns. Compensation & Benefits In the United States, compensation offered will be determined by location, job level, and related factors. Typical base salary range for this position is $218,400 – $365,200 annually. This range represents base salary only and does not include company bonus, incentive, equity, or benefits.
