Accountant- Financial Management/ Accounting

The Operational Accountant will be part of the Finance Operations team, ensuring that Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Procurement, and Commission processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with financial reporting requirements. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex operational processes. Responsibilities Calculate, validate, and process commissions accurately based on sales and business data. Oversee AP, AR, and commission system and process changes, ensuring proper testing and validation. Analyze AP, AR, and commissions data to support informed decision‑making across the business. Partner cross‑functionally to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and data accuracy. Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Perform monthly account reconciliations and support cash forecasting and analysis. Lead process improvement initiatives across AP, AR, procurement, and commission functions. Drive operational efficiencies and support ongoing enhancements while facilitating recurring monthly and regulatory reporting. Build strong relationships across the organization and contribute to the continued growth and success of a high‑performing Finance team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (preferred). 3+ years of accounting or finance operations experience, including AP, AR, and commission processes. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Workday or other ERP systems (preferred). Strong accounting knowledge, including a solid understanding of AP, AR, procurement, and related accounting principles. Proven ability to analyze financial data and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Compensation and Benefits Base hourly rate $33 – $38 on a full‑time schedule.
