Department

Manages employee time and attendance records, verifies payroll-related data, and ensures compliance with organizational policies and labor law regulations. Works closely with Human Resources, Payroll, department managers, and clinical staff to resolve timekeeping discrepancies and support accurate payroll processing.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent

Experience
Required:

At least three years of experience in customer service related job.

Previous experience using computer spreadsheets

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential

Reviews and maintains employee timecards and attendance records.


Coordinates and adjusts staff schedules accordingly in collaboration with staffing facilitators and unit managers/leaders.

Handles requests for time off and other schedule changes after employee schedules are posted. All requests and changes must be approved by unit management.

Works with area manager/supervisor to assure adequate coverage on a daily basis.

Monitors missed punches and adds meal period and rest break penalty pay according to policy HR.70.

Monitors overtime, shift differentials, and other pay codes accordingly. Coordinates with Payroll and HR as needed to ensure accurate pay codes are utilized on the timecard.

Ensures compliance with federal, state, and healthcare labor regulations.

Processes corrections by payroll deadlines.

Monitors attendance trends and reports discrepancies as needed to include tardies, absences and leaves of absence, ensuring correct pay codes are utilized and in coordination with unit managers/leaders. Consults with HR and the LOA team as needed.

Assists managers and staff with timekeeping system questions.

Coordinates with Payroll and HR as needed to ensure accurate pay codes are utilized on the timecard.

Maintains confidentiality of employee information and payroll data.

Ensures compliance with healthcare scheduling requirements, including weekend, holiday, and on-call pay rules.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served on the assigned unit or work area.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range
$22.48 -$33.72
