About the Clinician's Workday The pediatric anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia services during day shifts of 8 to 12 hours, working in a medical direction model alongside experienced CRNAs. The clinician will manage pediatric-focused cases, including occasional NICU and PICU coverage for complex neonatal cases, utilizing EPIC EMR for all patient documentation. Weekend beeper call coverage is required on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Board certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology is required for this on-site assignment. The cases range from pediatric ENT, GI, ophthalmology, urology, and imaging sedation to full-scope adult surgery including trauma, ortho, neuro, vascular, and robotics with no cardiac or transplant cases.
