Position Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of our care team, providing both clinical and administrative support in a fun, fast-paced pediatric urgent care setting. You'll work directly with providers, support children and families through every step of their visit, and help shape a warm, welcoming patient experience. This position includes front desk coverage as needed, so flexibility and teamwork are key.

Location:

• Fayetteville, NC

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient check in, insurance verifications,
• Obtain vital signs, medical history, and intake information
• Assist providers with procedures such as splinting, wound care, and specimen collection
• Perform point-of-care testing (strep, flu, RSV, urinalysis, etc.)
• Apply dressings, help with X-ray positioning, and provide distraction techniques for kids
• Support front desk with scheduling, registration, and patient checkout
• Keep exam rooms and reception area clean, organized, and stocked

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
• BLS certification
• Pediatric experience highly preferred
• Knowledge of splinting, EKG placement, and lab specimen handling is a plus
