Retail Service SpecialistGreets members by phone and in person and determines the nature of service required. Either provides requested services or directs them to the appropriate area. In locations providing DMV license services, processes transactions and resolves routine problems. Provides high level of customer service according to Club's Quality Assurance Standards.Job DutiesIn States offering DMV license services, provides registration services to members; maintains current knowledge of DMV regulations and completes all transactions according to State DMV and Club procedures.Prepares TripTiks®; provides maps, tour books and other travel-related materials.Assists members with hotel and/or car reservations.Promotes and sells AAA memberships.Processes membership payments. Upgrades basic memberships to those with higher value (Plus, Premier, etc.); offers automatic renewal feature.Processes insurance payments and offers automatic renewal.Issues passport photos and IDP's.Processes Travel Money product transactions; provides merchandise and attraction ticket sales.Balances and reconciles cash drawer; prepares daily deposits.Performs notary services in accordance with the National Notary Association and Club procedures.Identifies cross-sell opportunities based on members' product needs and service.QualificationsHigh School GED Required1-3 years Branch Specialist 1 and/or 2 or related experience RequiredBasic computer literacy and data input skillsAbility to operate basic office equipment and perform basic accounting dutiesAbility to work quickly and handle multiple tasks or assignments on a daily basisPrior experience using State DMV licensing system.As required, obtains and maintains valid notary licenseNotary Public - National Notary Association within 1 Year PreferredTravel RequirementsOccasional travel to off-site business meetings or conferences.
