Qualifications and Skills:

• Active Occupational Therapist license (OT) in California
• Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric OT practices and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with educators, staff, and families
• Reliable, independent, and able to adapt to diverse educational environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy to one student in accordance with the student’s IEP
• Conduct assessments, develop therapy goals, and document progress
• Collaborate with school staff and stakeholders to optimize the student’s abilities and participation in school activities
• Maintain accurate records and uphold professional standards
• Advocate for student needs and foster a supportive learning environment
