Travel Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Company: Fusion Medical Staffing (Ellensburg, Washington) Job Details Travel assignment for 13 weeks in Ellensburg, Washington. Required Qualifications One year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred Qualifications ACLS or PALS certification (AHA/ARC) Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position Summary A Certified Respiratory Therapist delivers respiratory interventions and support for patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions, assists in treatment and management of pulmonary disorders, administers respiratory treatments, monitors equipment, and educates patients and families on therapy and device use. Essential Work Functions Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy Set up and monitor equipment to ensure correct oxygen delivery Observe and record patient status and progress Educate patients and/or family members on proper medication and equipment use Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practice Required Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills Physical Abilities Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend Interpersonal Skills Work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) with a positive attitude and professionalism Technical/Motor Skills Grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move around when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment Mental Requirements Cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure Work under close supervision occasionally, and also work independently Adapt to irregular activity schedules and maintain continuous concentration to detail Sensory Possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate Benefits Highly competitive pay for travel professionals Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with first‑day coverage Paid Time Off (PTO) after 1560 hours Life and short‑term disability offered 401(k) matching Aggressive refer‑a‑friend bonus program 24/7 recruiter support Reimbursement for licensure and CEUs EEO Statement Fusion is an EOE/E-Verify Employer.
