Remote Outpatient Medical Coder (Part-Time)

Pena4 is seeking a Medical Coder (OP) for a 100% remote, part-time role (~20 hours/week). The ideal candidate has at least five years of outpatient coding experience and holds AHIMA or AAPC credentials (CCS or CPC).

Proficiency with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and EMR systems like Athena is preferred. Responsibilities include accurate coding for outpatient records, DRG/APC alignment, and collaboration with CDI and billing teams to ensure compliant reimbursements, with a per-case pay structure and quick
