Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. This role involves ensuring the proper cleaning, sterilization, and processing of surgical instruments and other reusable supplies to support patient care efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment usage.
• Contribute to the maintenance and quality assurance of sterilization equipment.
• Assist in inventory management of sterile supplies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be licensed/certified as a Sterile Processor in Virginia.
• Required certifications include BLS and CPI/HWC.
• 1-2 years of experience in sterile processing preferred.
• Experience with CSP and Flexible Endoscope Processor is a plus.
