TravelNurseSource is working with Conflux Systems Inc to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Carlinville, Illinois, 62626!

Description The ER RN delivers urgent and critical care to patients in the emergency department. This role involves rapid assessment, prioritization, and treatment of patients with a wide range of conditions, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.   Key Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on severity of condition
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
• Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and resuscitations
• Provide wound care, trauma care, and emergency interventions
• Operate and monitor medical equipment (e.g., cardiac monitors, ventilators)
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain infection control and safety standards
