We are looking for a Full Time Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team in our clinic in West Long Branch, NJ. This position is from 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday.

Position Summary:

The BCBA is responsible for conducting assessments and developing effective, individualized interventions for individuals with autism and behavior challenges. This role requires the ability to recognize and discuss signs of autism, as well as an understanding of diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum and behavioral disorder.

As part of an interdisciplinary clinical team, the BCBA collaborates with other professionals to design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that promote skill development and improve quality of life for clients. Full-time BCBAs are expected to dedicate their professional practice exclusively to Graham Behavior Services and may not provide ABA therapy through other agencies while employed full time.

Requirements:

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Solid knowledge of the principles and practice of Applied Behavior Analysis. Including general behavioral assessment and Ethical Standards in Behavior Analysis. 
• Solid knowledge of the behavioral impact of developmental disabilities, as well as the cognitive, educational, vocational and social challenges encountered by persons with developmental disabilities. 
• Maintains advanced working knowledge of human development practices and standards, and principles of applied behavioral analysis. 
• Effective and creative negotiator and problem solver. 
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks/goals for self and others. 
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with individuals and groups at all professional levels. 
• Ability to work effectively with various technologies and software. 
• Consistently demonstrates a high level of integrity, responsibility, accountability, teamwork and ethics 
• Adheres to all policies, procedures and standard practices of Graham Behavior Services. 
• Effective with shifting roles, responsibilities, and expectations in a changing environment.

Experience, Education and Training:

• Strong clinical background in administering verbal behavior assessments, conducting language, play, and skill-based assessments, and in designing, implementing, and/or training others using individualized language, play and skill-based curricula. 
• Experience in 1:1 education of learners with autism across educational and community settings, as well as familiarity with designing, participating in, or supervising in-home 1:1 programs for young individuals with autism. 
• Collecting, graphing, analyzing, displaying and discussing data based progress is a must. 
• Masters Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field, is required. Preferably from an ABA accredited program. 
• Must possess a BCBA license in the state of NJ and maintain a BCBA license in good standing. 
• Training and certification under the Behavior Analysis Certification Program (BACB) for Applied Behavior Analysis as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Acquire and maintain supervision credential through BACB to provide supervision for BCaBAs, BCBA candidates, and RBTs. 
• Minimum two years experience providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities. 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to travel to various client locations. 
• Must be capable and knowledgeable about handling individuals in crisis. 
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds and receive crisis management training, as needed.
• Must alert your clinical supervisor if you are unable to physically engage in any of the crisis management procedures.
