Job Title: GMP Trainer and Mentor – Life Sciences Manufacturing
Job Description
This role offers the opportunity to become a certified GMP Trainer and Mentor within a structured life sciences manufacturing environment. You will complete rigorous, multi‑month training, work in a cleanroom with full PPE, and then train and mentor new team members while supporting safe, accurate, and consistent daily operations. Responsibilities
- Complete rigorous, multi‑month training to become fully certified in all relevant GMP procedures and cleanroom processes.
- Work in a cleanroom environment while wearing full PPE, including a bunny suit, and consistently follow all safety and contamination control protocols.
- Support daily manufacturing operations by performing tasks safely, accurately, and consistently in accordance with GMP standards.
- Train and mentor new team members once certified, providing clear instruction, coaching, and ongoing support to help them master procedures.
- Model best practices in GMP compliance, cleanroom behavior, and documentation to reinforce a culture of quality and safety.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with cross‑functional teams to coordinate activities and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team culture by sharing knowledge, offering feedback, and participating in continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the work area, supporting janitorial and housekeeping expectations within the cleanroom.
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and company policies related to quality, safety, and production.
- 2+ years of janitorial or closely related experience in a structured environment.
- Experience working under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines or in other highly regulated environments such as pharmaceutical, biotech, food and beverage, or food industry settings.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing full PPE, including a bunny suit, for extended periods.
- Ability to stand on your feet for up to 8 hours per day.
- Demonstrated leadership, leadership potential, or entry‑level managerial experience, with the ability to guide and support others.
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain procedures and expectations to new team members and cross‑functional partners.
- High attention to detail and commitment to performing tasks safely, accurately, and consistently.
- Comfort working in a highly structured, process‑driven environment with strict adherence to procedures.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or food and beverage production environments.
- Previous exposure to GMP documentation and quality systems.
- Management or supervisory skills, including the ability to mentor, train, and develop others.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain cleanliness and order in a controlled environment.
- Interest in building a long‑term career path with potential progression into quality or management roles.

Work Environment
You will work in a controlled cleanroom environment, wearing full PPE including a bunny suit at all times while on the production floor. The role involves standing for up to 8 hours per day and following strict GMP, safety, and cleanliness standards. You will receive extensive training that can last for several months to ensure full certification in all procedures. The primary schedule is a first‑shift assignment, typically around 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for the first 6 months to 1 year, with the expectation of flexibility to rotate to other shifts as operational needs require. The environment is highly structured, process‑oriented, and focused on quality, safety, and teamwork.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $30.00/hr.
