Logistics Coordinator

Randstad is partnering with a premier statewide leader in commercial fuel and lubricant distribution to hire a hands-on, detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator. Operating in a fast-paced corporate environment, this role is responsible for managing fuel delivery logistics, tracking truck inventories, preventing fuel losses, and supporting dispatch operations.

Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL Pay Rate: $18.00 – $24.50 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Qualifications & Requirements

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience preferred. Previous logistics, dispatch, or scheduling experience in multi-compartment fuel tanker transportation is highly preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning specialized logistics route management systems.
• Skills: Excellent time-management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities in dynamic office environments. verbal and written communication skills; (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Attributes: High attention to detail, accuracy with numbers/reconciliations, and a professional, positive demeanor.
• Physical & Travel Capabilities: Comfort with extended periods of desk work, light physical exertion (up to 15 lbs), and ability to travel locally if required.

Responsibilities

• Inventory & Route Monitoring: Manage and balance truck inventories to ensure precise fuel levels and billing accuracy using system software (Skybitz, SmartTank, Otodata, Titan Cloud).
• Delivery Tracking: Track and report fuel deliveries across all routes to maintain proper stock levels and prevent inventory losses.
• Dispatch & Administrative Support: Provide operational backup for dispatchers by coordinating driver schedules, managing customer orders, and organizing route management.
• Order Reconciliation: Reconcile Bills of Lading (BOL) during every shift to ensure gross and net gallon delivery accuracy.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with drivers, sales reps, customers, and supply partners to set expectations and optimize delivery schedules.
• Compliance & Equipment Check: Assist in monitoring equipment to ensure all required tests and terminal inspections remain active and compliant
