Production Associate / Stand-Up Forklift Operator 1st Shift

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Production Associate to join a new production line with a large, established company . This position is a good fit for someone who has stand-up forklift experience, is comfortable working with their hands, and is flexible enough to help wherever needed.
Shift:
1st: 5:00am - 3:00pm
Pay: $18.00
Responsibilities:

• Operate a stand-up forklift safely to move materials and supplies
• Assemble small parts and components using basic hand tools
• Assist with the production and assembly of hoses and compressor-related components
• Lift, move, and organize hoses and other production materials
• Use a computer to track materials, production, and completed work
• Perform basic quality checks on assembled products
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
• Assist with different responsibilities as the new production line grows

Qualifications:

• Stand-up forklift experience required
• Comfortable using basic hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Able to lift and handle hoses and production materials throughout the shift
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn
• Flexible and comfortable taking on different responsibilities
• Strong team-player mentality and positive attitude

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tallahassee, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
