About the Position

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Perform  echocardiography (Echo)studies as needed.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to imaging procedures.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and documentation for interpretation by physicians.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout all imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, physicians, and the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies, infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in the shared on-call rotation as scheduled.

Requirements

• Active  ARDMS certification required.
• Current  BLS certification required.
• Echo experience is required.
• ECHO certification preferred.
• Proof of a  negative TB test completed within 12 months prior to the contract start date.
• Strong ultrasound imaging, patient care, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging department.
