We are a leading dealer of environmental services equipment across the Pacific Northwest and Southwest, representing top brands in the garbage truck, vac truck, sweeper, and sewer maintenance equipment space. We provide sales, parts, service, and rentals to municipalities and businesses that keep communities clean and infrastructure running smoothly. We're looking for a driven Sales Representative to grow our footprint of new and used environmental equipment sales garbage trucks, sweepers, sewer maintenance trucks, and related equipment across our territory. This role is responsible for building relationships with municipalities, private waste haulers, and businesses, understanding their fleet and equipment needs, and guiding them through the sales process from first conversation to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a sales pipeline of new and existing customers across municipal, private hauler, and commercial segments
• Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet managers, operations leaders, and procurement decision-makers
• Conduct regular in-person visits, equipment demonstrations, and site meetings to understand customer needs and present the right equipment solutions
• Sell new and used equipment across our represented equipment brands
• Partner with our parts, service, and rental teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from sale through ongoing support
• Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive offerings to effectively position our solutions
• Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and pricing in line with company guidelines
• Represent the company at industry trade shows, municipal events, and open houses
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and pipeline status in CRM
• Collaborate with leadership to identify growth opportunities and help expand market share within the territory

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside/B2B sales experience, ideally in heavy equipment, commercial trucks, waste/refuse, or a related industrial field
• Experience selling into municipal or public sector accounts is a strong plus
• Familiarity with garbage trucks, sweepers, vac trucks, or similar heavy equipment preferred, but not required strong sales fundamentals and a willingness to learn the product line matter most
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently
• Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred but not required with relevant experience
