Program Manager, Housing Funders Collaborative

REPORTS TO: Director of Housing Advocacy and Community Engagement SUMMARY: Miami Homes For All, Inc. (MHFA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to ensure all Miami-Dade residents have a safe, affordable place to call home. We seek a motivated, resourceful, and positive individual to increase the supply of affordable housing and lower-income residents’ access to it. This position will support the Greater Miami Housing Funders Collaborative to accelerate investments in affordable housing across Miami-Dade. A major part of this position’s responsibility is being in the community and sourcing potential projects to present to the Funders Collaborative. The Funders Collaborative includes for-profit and non-profit financial institutions, public agencies, and philanthropic organizations. This position will work closely with our contracted partner, Enterprise Community Partners. The ideal candidate is a skilled relationship-builder with experience planning and convening productive meetings of varied stakeholders. Experience with or knowledge about affordable housing development or programming preferred. Passion for the subject required. RESPONSIBLITIES: Pipeline Cultivation & Identification Conduct marketing, outreach, and engagement activities to recruit developers to submit applications to the Greater Miami Housing Funders Collaborative. Coordinate, convene, and facilitate Pipeline Review Committee (PRC) meetings between developers and investors to accelerate investments toward affordable housing developments. Develop meeting agendas and materials for PRC meetings. Ensure strong communication among members. Manage Neighborly, an online application portal for housing projects. Collaborate with Enterprise Community Partners to review applications and support viable applications. Relationship & Resource Development and Management Recruit housing funders to join the Collaborative and consider affordable housing development applications for investment. Represent the coalition and organization at public meetings, conferences, and community events. Coordinate and convene strategic meetings of the Funders Collaborative to discuss and implement various housing finance and investment tools. Manage relationships with developers, investors, and key stakeholders to support the Collaborative’s success and alignment with strategic goals. Monitoring & Reporting Track progress toward performance metrics and produce regular updates and reports. Facilitate regular meetings and communication with funders and developers to provide updates on project progress and funding status. Assist the Program Director to manage budgets, financial reports, and program expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility and program effectiveness. Monitor funders’ investments and development progress to track outcomes. Prepare and present reports on funding status, project outcomes, and impact to stakeholders and funders. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in finance, public administration, urban planning, economics, or a related field; Minimum of 3 years of experience in community development, housing development, banking, nonprofit services, or a related area. Strong facilitation, diplomacy, and communication skills across diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of housing finance, policy, and local Miami-Dade housing dynamics preferred. Commitment to racial equity, systems change, and community-driven solutions. Excellent computer skills (CRMs, Microsoft Office Suite, Google+ Suite, and portal management, etc.). Proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and coalitions with diverse stakeholders. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Clear and engaging verbal communication. Able to write concisely and in a manner that builds relationships. Passion for affordable housing and community development. ABOUT MHFA: MHFA’s objectives are to increase production of, preservation of, and access to affordable housing in Miami-Dade County. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Work Environment. This position typically requires a combination of remote, office-based, and fieldwork.
