Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant – Gastrointestinal to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Position type : Full-Time Department : Physician Assistant Location : NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi – 1400 Pelham Parkway South, Bronx, NY 10461 Salary range : $131,127 – $174,836 Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a unit that performs over 4,000 procedures annually. Perform and document complete histories and physical examinations, ordering of tests, and reviewing results. Making referrals as necessary. Documenting findings in the electronic medical record. Consulting with supervising medical provider when appropriate. Counseling patients and families regarding care. Qualifications Current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant Current certification issued by the NCCPA NRP and PALS Benefits Annual Base Salary: $131,127* – $174,836* based on 40‑hour work week and years of State Licensure. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $144,239** and $192,319**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution and other factors as set forth below: 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
