wHydrate is seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Newnan team as our Lead Infusion Specialist .

This is a hands-on clinical leadership position for an RN who enjoys providing exceptional client care while also taking ownership of the organization, communication, and day-to-day operations of a clinical team. The Lead Infusion Specialist will provide IV and IM services to clients while overseeing and supporting our team of Part-Time Infusion Specialists.

Because wHydrate is a client-focused wellness and med spa environment, the ideal candidate is equally comfortable providing excellent clinical care, leading a team, and creating a warm and welcoming experience for every client.

Schedule

This position requires a minimum of three (3) shifts per week , including at least two (2) weekend shifts per month . Additional flexibility is required based on staffing and clinic needs.

Our Newnan clinic hours are:

• Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Saturday–Sunday: 9:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Closed on major holidays

As the Lead Infusion Specialist, this position also carries primary responsibility for ensuring clinical shift coverage. If an Infusion Specialist calls out and another Part-Time Infusion Specialist is unable to pick up or swap the shift, the Lead Infusion Specialist is expected to provide coverage when needed, except in circumstances involving previously approved or planned time away.

Compensation & Benefits

• $27.50/hour + tips

Clinical Responsibilities

The Lead Infusion Specialist will provide safe, professional, and exceptional care to our clients, including:

• Starting and administering IV infusions
• Administering IM injections
• Obtaining and documenting client vital signs
• Reviewing client information and completing appropriate assessments prior to treatment
• Accurately documenting treatments and client information
• Monitoring clients throughout treatment
• Following all wHydrate clinical protocols, policies, and safety standards
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
• Providing an excellent client experience and helping clients feel comfortable throughout their visit
• Working collaboratively with the front desk and clinical teams to ensure smooth daily clinic operations

Leadership & Administrative Responsibilities

In addition to providing direct client care, the Lead Infusion Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the Newnan Infusion Specialist team and assisting with clinical operations, including:

• Creating and maintaining the Infusion Specialist staff schedule
• Coordinating coverage for scheduled absences and unexpected call-outs
• Overseeing and supporting Part-Time Infusion Specialists
• Assisting with interviewing and hiring new Infusion Specialist team members
• Training and onboarding new Infusion Specialists after completing Lead training
• Communicating new clinical policies, procedures, and operational updates to the Infusion Specialist team
• Reviewing and communicating relevant information from monthly clinical newsletters
• Communicating audit findings and necessary corrections or follow-up to applicable Infusion Specialists
• Maintaining appropriate clinical inventory levels
• Completing biweekly ordering of dry supplies, vitamins, and medications
• Helping ensure the clinical team consistently follows wHydrate policies, protocols, and documentation standards
• Communicating staffing, clinical, inventory, and operational concerns to management as needed

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong IV insertion skills and prior IV-start experience
• Prior leadership, supervisory, or training experience preferred
• Excellent organization, communication, and time-management skills
• Dependable and able to respond to unexpected staffing needs
• Comfortable providing direction, feedback, and support to other clinical team members
• Professional, personable, and comfortable working in a client-focused wellness/med spa environment
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
• Ability to work a minimum of three shifts per week and at least two weekend shifts per month
