Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, driving sales performance, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role plays a key part in achieving sales targets, maintaining operational standards, and creating a positive shopping experience. Key Responsibilities Store Operations Assist in managing day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards Support inventory control, stock replenishment, and loss prevention activities Support achievement of sales targets and KPIs Monitor sales trends and suggest improvement strategies Assist in planning promotions, displays, and merchandising activities Team Management Support hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of store staff Motivate and guide team members to deliver high-quality service Act as Store Manager in their absence Customer Experience Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business Reporting & Administration Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports Support cash handling, POS operations, and end-of-day reconciliation Maintain accurate records and documentation Requirements & Qualifications 2–4 years of retail experience, including a supervisory role Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in POS systems and basic MS Office #J-18808-Ljbffr
