Travel RN – PACU (13-Week Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days with rotating weekends and on-call | Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care for a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to adult, including cases such as lumpectomies, tonsillectomies, tube placements, and open-heart surgery, as well as trauma cases
• Monitor patients using GE patient monitors and document care using the Expanse EMR system
• Maintain patient ratios in accordance with CPAN Guidelines
• Participate in on-call rotation, including a 30-minute response requirement — arriving dressed and ready to accept patients in the PACU
• Float to Endoscopy or Same Day Care units as needed
• Collaborate with a team of RNs and support staff to ensure safe, patient-focused care across a 10-bay unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire — required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• PACU and PACU pediatric experience at a Level II facility or higher — candidates without this experience will not be considered
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation including once-weekly call Monday through Thursday, one Friday every five weeks, and two 24-hour weekend shifts in a five-week schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ICU experience
• Emergency Room (ER) experience
• CPAN certification
