Program Manager I

Program Manager IBAE Systems is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead large-scale facility modernization and expansion projects at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant. As a Program Manager, you will deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while leading a cross-functional team and communicating effectively with executive leadership and government customers.Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale (> $100M) complex Capital Investment projects, ensuring timely, budgeted, and quality delivery.Profit and Loss Management: Manage project finances, ensuring budget adherence and financial target achievement.Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates to executive leadership and government customers on project status, progress, and issues.Sub-contractor and Supplier Management: Oversee sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure project requirements and quality standards are met.Project Planning and Control: Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure project successAttributes of a Successful Program Manager:Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.Collaborative Leader: Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Effective Communicator: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Results-Oriented: Strong focus on delivering results and meeting project goals.Adaptable and Flexible: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work on complex and challenging projectsCollaborative and dynamic work environmentProfessional development and growth opportunitiesRequired Education, Experience, & SkillsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution.Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant project management experience in Defense, Construction, or Oil/Gas/Chemical industries.Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication with upper management and customers.Technical Writing: Proficient in technical writing, such as proposal and statement of work development.Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Preferred Education, Experience, & SkillsMasters Degree: Preferred in a related field.Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA Level III Program Management certification preferred.Earned Value Management: Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or similar tools preferred.Scheduling Tools: Experience with integrated master schedules using MS Project, Primavera, etc. preferred.Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams.Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $108787 - $184937 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
