Rose of Sharon Senior Villa is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in a flexible, part-time hybrid role.

This position is ideal for a Nurse Practitioner who is looking for meaningful work with older adults while maintaining flexibility in their schedule. The role combines on-site responsibilities with remote/administrative work , with scheduling developed around both the needs of our residents and the availability of the selected candidate.

About the Position

As our Nurse Practitioner, you will work collaboratively with our leadership and care team to help support the health, safety, and overall well-being of our residents. This position requires someone who is comfortable working independently, communicating with families and healthcare professionals, and providing clinical guidance to the caregiving team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assess and monitor residents' health and changes in condition

• Review medical information, medications, and care needs

• Provide clinical recommendations and guidance as appropriate

• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacies, home health providers, families, and other healthcare professionals

• Support the development and review of resident care plans

• Assist the care team with identifying changes that may require additional medical attention

• Provide education and clinical guidance to caregivers and staff

• Complete required documentation accurately and timely

• Participate in resident and family care discussions when needed

• Help ensure residents receive compassionate, coordinated, person-centered care

• Complete designated administrative and follow-up responsibilities remotely when appropriate

Schedule & Work Arrangement

This is a part-time hybrid position consisting of both on-site and remote work .

We understand that qualified healthcare professionals often balance multiple professional and personal responsibilities. For that reason, we are open to developing a flexible schedule based on the candidate's availability and the needs of the position.

This opportunity may be especially well suited for an NP looking to supplement an existing position, transition into a more flexible schedule, or continue practicing on a part-time basis.

Qualifications

Candidates should have:

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license

• Current RN/APRN licensure as required

• Appropriate prescribing credentials, if required for assigned responsibilities

• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

• Compassion and patience when working with older adults and their families

• Reliable transportation for required on-site responsibilities

Experience in geriatrics, assisted living, long-term care, home health, primary care, or senior care is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
