About the Role

We're hiring a full-time Document Courier to be the on-the-ground connection between our office and the agencies we work with every day — including the U.S. Department of State, DC government offices, local courthouses, and foreign embassies. This isn't just a driving job. You'll also support day-to-day office operations between runs, so reliability, organization, and professionalism matter as much as being on time.

What You'll Do

• Hand-deliver and pick up client documents at the U.S. Department of State, DC agencies, and embassies/consulates
• Visit local courthouses to retrieve vital records and other client documents
• Drop off and pick up shipments at UPS, FedEx, and USPS locations
• Maintain accurate data and document tracking so every file's status is up to date and easy to find
• Communicate clearly and proactively with clients and the team — status updates, delays, or issues in the field
• Handle sensitive personal documents (birth certificates, diplomas, background checks, etc.) with care and confidentiality
• Support office tasks between courier runs — filing, prepping document packages, front-desk coverage

What We're Looking For

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Comfortable navigating DC traffic, parking, courthouse procedures, and government office requirements
• Highly organized — you can juggle multiple documents, deadlines, and tracking records without losing track
• Clear, professional communicator — you'll represent Elite Documents at courthouses, embassies, federal offices, and shipping carriers
• Willingness to become a licensed Notary Public (we'll support you through the process)
• Prior courier, administrative, or client-facing experience preferred but not required
