Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit during night shift hours Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols Monitor and document patient condition, progress, and response to care Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes Required Qualifications Active RN license in the state of Kansas or a compact license that is valid in Kansas Current BLS certification required Experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing setting Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience in an acute care hospital environment Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems Ability to manage a high-acuity patient load in a fast-paced setting Why Join Us Opportunity to work a long-term assignment with a well-established acute care facility in Wichita, KS Gain valuable experience in a Medical/Surgical environment while expanding your clinical skill set
